Your images

Cropping, resizing, compressing, and validation all happen inside your browser. There is no image-upload endpoint, and your image is never sent to a server or stored by PakkaPix.

When you close the tab, the image is released from memory with it. Nothing about your image is retained.

If you choose “Use camera,” your browser asks for camera permission and shows the available cameras reported by your device. The live view stays on your device. Only the frame you choose to capture enters PakkaPix, where it opens directly in the local crop tool.

What is stored on your device

Two things are kept locally so the site works the way you expect. Neither is sent anywhere.

• Your theme choice. A single localStorage entry named pakkapix-theme remembers whether you picked light or dark. It contains only that word.
• An offline copy of the app. A service worker and browser cache may keep this site's own pages and scripts so PakkaPix works reliably. They cache no images and no personal data.

You can remove both at any time by clearing site data for this site in your browser settings.

Cookies

PakkaPix does not set cookies. There is no cookie banner because there are no cookies to consent to.

Ads, analytics, and trackers

As of the effective date above, this site contains no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking scripts, and it loads no third-party code. There is nothing following you between pages or across sites.

Planned change: analytics

PakkaPix does not use analytics today. Google Analytics is planned for when the site moves to its own domain. That is a deliberate, disclosed change, not something already running.

Before any analytics are added, this page will be updated and, where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent before anything is measured. Analytics tools commonly use cookies or similar identifiers, so the cookie statement above will change at the same time. Until then, no analytics code is present here.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to X (x.com). Nothing is loaded from X until you follow a link; once you are there, X's own privacy policy applies.

Hosting

PakkaPix is delivered as static files by a web host. As with any website, the host may keep standard access records — such as the requesting IP address, browser type, and time — in order to serve the site and keep it secure. PakkaPix does not use those records to profile you and runs no analytics of its own.

Your data and your rights

Because PakkaPix collects no personal data and stores nothing about your images, there is no profile to access, correct, export, or delete. If you believe something here is inaccurate, or you simply want to ask a question about this policy, get in touch by email or on X.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of the page will be updated. Material changes — such as the introduction of analytics — will be described here rather than made quietly.

Who runs PakkaPix

PakkaPix is an independent utility built and maintained by @sumeetweb. It is not affiliated with any government department, examination authority, recruitment board, or application portal.
